Privacy notice
Information on how bswebit processes personal data when you use this website and the contact form, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR).
1. Data controller
Controller: bswebit (freelance web development, Slovakia). Contact: info@bswebit.com and the contact form. Postal or registered address may be provided in project documentation or on request.
We have not appointed an external Data Protection Officer (DPO). You may address requests directly to the controller at the contact details above.
2. Categories of personal data
Browsing static pages: we do not maintain a visitor register by default. Technical server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) may be generated by hosting infrastructure — governed by the hosting provider’s privacy policy; we identify subprocessors in project documentation where relevant.
Cookies and local storage: we use a technical cookie and localStorage to remember your consent choice. Details: Cookies notice.
Contact form: name, email address, message body, anti-spam fields (e.g. honeypot), submission time, and optional language field to reply in the right language.
3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

|---|---|---|
| Receiving messages | responding to enquiries and pre-contractual steps | Art. 6(1)(b) / (1)(f) legitimate interest to reply |

| Legal claims | establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims | Art. 6(1)(c) legal obligation; (1)(f) legitimate interests |
4. Retention
Messages are kept until the matter is concluded and any statutory retention (e.g. accounting) expires. Cookie retention is described in the cookies notice.
5. Recipients and processors
The controller has access. Hosting and mail transport providers may act as processors. Transfers outside the EEA occur only with appropriate safeguards (e.g. adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses). Google Fonts may involve Google Ireland Limited.
6. Your rights (GDPR Chapter III)
- Access (Art. 15)
- Rectification (Art. 16)
