Terms of use
General terms for using the bswebit website and commissioning web development work — clear, practical rules.
1. Service provider, scope
This website and related services are provided by bswebit (freelance web development, Slovakia). Contact: info@bswebit.com and the contact form.
These terms apply to browsing bswebit.com and to custom web development and related services agreed individually. For each project, the written agreement (quote, contract, or conditions confirmed by email) takes precedence if it differs from this page.
2. Using the website
You may use the site only for lawful purposes and without infringing others’ rights. Code, copy, images, and brand elements are protected — copying, redistribution, or commercial reuse without permission is not allowed.
The site is provided “as is”. We aim for accurate information, but content is indicative and not professional or legal advice.
3. Quotes, orders, delivery
Custom work starts after a quote and your confirmation (or a signed contract). Deadlines, fees, handover, and intellectual property transfer or licensing must be set out in that project agreement.
You are responsible for lawfulness of materials you supply (text, images, rights). Delayed feedback may shift the schedule; we’ll agree that with you in advance.
4. Fees and invoicing
Fees and payment milestones (deposit, instalments, final invoice) follow the applicable quote or contract. We may pause work for late payment and pursue remedies as agreed or allowed by law.
5. Liability
We are not responsible for third‑party sites linked from this website. Hosting, security updates, and day‑to‑day operation of a delivered solution may be your responsibility unless a separate agreement says otherwise.
Our liability follows applicable law and the contract. We exclude indirect loss or lost profit where the law allows.
6. Privacy and complaints
Full details on personal data processing and your GDPR rights are in our Privacy notice; cookies are covered separately in the cookies notice. Contact: info@bswebit.com.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version published here applies. Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, disputes are primarily governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic; consumer authorities at your habitual residence may also be competent.
For specific legal questions, seek independent legal advice — this text is general information, not a lawyer’s opinion.
